Let’s be up front and honest about what is going on in the streets of America today. It’s a Marxist revolutionary attack on our country from within – plain and simple.
But, what are the leftists using as their excuse to riot, loot, burn, and murder? They are utilizing a claim that cops in the USA are actively hunting black people to shoot and kill without cause. For their “proof,” they point to the deaths of George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Daniel Prude – most recently.
The last time we had riots over police use of deadly force was back in 2014/2015 with the shootings of Michael Brown and Tamir Rice, along with the in-custody death of Freddie Gray.
In each of these situations, frenzied agitators took to the streets to scream, yell, march, protest, riot, loot, and pillage – all without waiting for any other information than the fact that a black man was dead. But what realities were uncovered by those who actually took the time to research the incidents prior to passing judgment and closing the cases as cut-and-dry examples of police brutality?
Let’s go back to the earlier cases first.
Michael Brown was supposedly shot and killed on a sidewalk by a cop who had some time on his hands and felt like killing a black man. “Witnesses” breathlessly recalled seeing Brown with his hands in the air pleading “Don’t Shoot” as the cop blazed away with his service pistol. However, as the real facts unfolded, it was learned that Brown had, just minutes before the encounter, robbed a convenience store, assaulting the store owner who tried to stop him from walking out with the merchandise. The cop stopped to check him out because he was walking in the middle of the street, not a sidewalk. Brown attacked the officer, trying to take his gun away. “Hands UP – Don’t Shoot”?? That turned out to be a complete lie. It never happened.
Tamir Rice, an innocent little boy playing in a park, was mercilessly gunned down by cops who just rolled up and started shooting. Oh, but then came the video footage of Rice brandishing a gun and pointing it at passers-by multiple times. Someone called the cops. The cops rolled up while he had the gun still in his hand. Sorry Tamir. Play stupid games – win stupid prizes.
Freddie Gray was never killed by cops. A jury acquitted all of the cops who were tried on that case. Freddie Gray was a victim of his own temper tantrum in the back of a police van.
It’s looking more and more like George Floyd died of a combination of a bad heart and illegally taking fentanyl. “Unarmed” Jacob Blake had sexually assaulted the woman who’s house the cops responded to, fought the cops when they tried to arrest him, and was reaching for a knife when he was “shot in the back.” No riots or protesting over the woman he raped. But that’s another story. And Daniel Prude? A mesh “spit hood” did not suffocate him. In fact, the “spit hoods” that police use are even more porous than the masks we are all forced to wear now because of the “Kung Flu.” Oh, and that is why the cops put the hood on him in the first place. He was spitting on them and said he had COVID. Before that he was running around in the street naked. He was also had PCP in him, according to Monroe County medical examiner.
WHERE ARE ALL THE KILLER COPS?
Black radio personality Larry Elder has made a very profound point several times over the last few years: if cops are out there trying to kill off black men, they are doing a very poor job of it. Last year, “racist” cops only shot and killed 235 black people. In 2018, it was 209. In 2017, they got 223.
In contrast, the black-hating, racist cops shot and killed 370 WHITE people last year. In 2018, bigoted cops killed 399 WHITE people. And a whopping 457 WHITE people were shot and killed in 2017. https://www.statista.com/statistics/585152/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-race/
Seriously? How can cops who are racist and want to kill black people consistently shoot and kill more white people year after year??
Think about it. I know I’m playing an asinine game here. But this is the narrative that is supporting an overt attempt to overthrow our very governmental system, and is causing millions (if not billions) of in dollars in damage through the process. We are supposed to believe that cops are actively hunting black people AND that a large portion of white society condones it!
If every cop in America is packing something like a Glock or a Sig handgun, we can assume they are carrying 15 round magazines in their duty weapons. Every cop I ever knew carried 2 spare magazines. That’s at least 45 rounds per cop. And that’s only their sidearm. Most cops have a shotgun or rifle (or BOTH) in the car with them. Then, there is the car itself. 2 tons of plastic and metal, capable of speeds over 100 mph. With all that weaponry available to them, why aren’t we seeing black people killed in the MILLIONS by cops every year – if that’s the racist goal? Between the ability to shoot AND run over targets of opportunity, how are these racist cops only scoring in the hundreds?
Another widely overlooked detail: opportunity. Why do these racist cops wait for traffic stops and calls for service to do their dirty deeds? I mean, it’s kind of lame to be committing all these murders when they know people are watching. Blue lights flashing, prominent uniforms, witnesses everywhere. Why aren’t they getting out of their cars, walking a few blocks away in trench coats and Wu-Flu masks, dusting a few homies on a street corner, and disappearing into the night?
The obvious answer is that the whole “racist cops” narrative is total B.S.
The numbers are out there. All you have to do is look. One study was done by a black college professor who was actually looking for the racism he’d heard about. After studying four sets of data, 1) All of NYPD’s “Stop and Frisk” contacts from 2003 and 2013. 2) The Police-Public Contact Survey, conducted nation-wide by the US Bureau of Justice Statistics between 1996 and 2011 (approximately 426,000 observations). 3) The reports from 508 officer involved shootings, and 4000 taser deployments from 15 large jurisdictions across the country. 4) 16000 arrests between 2000 and 2015 in the city of Houston, TX.
Guess what he found.
“no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account.”
Contextual Factors. That means looking at ALL the facts, and not just a badge on one person and the color of another person’s skin after the gun smoke clears.
You can find his study HERE.
Year after year, more whites are shot and killed than blacks. Yet, activists will twist and squirm, bending themselves into pretzels trying to make the data say things that it doesn’t. One tactic I am seeing over and over is the excuse that blacks make up a much smaller <i>percentage<i> of the overall population – yet the percentage of black people killed by police versus white people doesn’t match up with their demographic percentage of population. This play on numbers fails to take into account several factors such as overall crime rate in areas based on the demographic makeup, attitudes toward police, and percentage of population actively involved in criminal behavior.
And the real bottom line is this: no matter the reason why a cop contacts a person, when that person resists or fights, percentages and demographics mean absolutely squat. It’s a battle between the cop(s) and that suspect(s). The reality is that 99.9% of all police-citizen contacts would end with everyone alive and healthy if everyone simply cooperated with the police when contacted.
